What are the rates of pay?

The rates of pay will depend on your qualifications and level of experience.

 

When do I have to work? How many shifts will I get?

The great part of working with an agency is the flexibility to work when you want and where you want.

 

How much notice will I get for a shift?

How far in advance you can be booked for a shift depends upon the health facility and your skill set. We will give you as much notice as possible.

 

Do I have to work a certain number of shifts to remain a member of PRN Healthcare?

There are no minimum numbers of shifts required to remain a member. We hope you will work as much as you want to. We don’t put pressure on you to work more than you wish to. Always remember you are our number one priority.

 

How much experience do I require to join PRN Healthcare?

That will depend on your role. Registered Nurses (Division 1) and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (Division 2) need as a minimum 2000 hours of paid work as a nurse. The requirements vary for Personal Care Workers and Assistant Nurses. Please give one of our friendly staff a call and they will be happy to have a chat with you.

 

Does PRN Healthcare employ graduate nurses?

No we do not employ new graduate nurses.

Will I be asked to work in aged care, if I am an acute care registered nurse?

The short answer to that is no, we will never ask you to work outside your area of clinical experience.

 

Do I need qualifications to work as a Personal Care Assistant or Assistant in Nursing?

Does PRN Healthcare offer sponsorship?
